Founder:  Association of Hungarian Independent Schools

Tasks, services:

–         providing a professional educational background for private (secular) primary and secondary  schools, ie

–         teacher counselling service,

–         monitoring educational activities as well as those relating to school management,

–         introducing/sharing innovative methods,

–         organising in-service trainings for educational staff,

–         operating a bookshop selling textbooks, periodicals and other education-related publications,

–         co-ordinating projects on sustainable development (e.g. the project called School of Green Knowledge launched in September),

–         organising foreign language courses,

–         hosting exhibitions and other events (e.g. Indian Day for families and all those interested),

–         TAKING PART IN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS, namely:

 Comenius project entitled Absenteeism – Strategies, Concepts and Materials to Fight Truancy  (2007-2009)

Project partners:  Germany (the project co-ordinator),  Finland, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom;

Comenius project entitled The Making of: Leadership in Education  (2008-2010)

Project partners:   Germany (the project co-ordinator),  Poland, Ireland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, Norway;

Grundtvig project entitled  We Share

It was launched in October 2011 and is going to last through June 2013.

The project focuses on sharing and disseminating good practices in various fields of human activity involving different forms of a „barter”, ie exchanging work for work,

services for services free of charge and thus bringing people closer together.

Project partners:  Italy (the project co-ordinator), the Czech Republic, Portugal, France, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Cyprus, Sweden, Belgium, Greece, Slovakia;
